The Spanish University Sports Committee a body whose function is that of assisting and counselling the National Sports Council in order to carry out properly any aspect concerning the university sport area.

 Within their functions, the most important ones are:

• Presenting to the National Sports Council the annual plan concerning the competitions and university sports activities of national and international nature.
• Provide technical assistance to the National Sports Council to prepare and control the development of the university sports competitions and activities assigned to the National Sports Council.
